Lucy, a college student, and her friends are vacationing at her family home in Hawaii, where Ben, her pet chimpanzee, is also present. But when Ben contracts rabies after being bitten by an infected animal, the vacation quickly turns into a nightmare. As Ben becomes violent and uncontrollable, the group must fight for their lives and find a way to escape the animal that was once considered part of their family.
